She grabs everything that catches her eyes, triggers her imagination, or gives her inspiration.

Pieces of fabric, lace, buttons, feathers, ties, sea shells, paper - all mixed together to create a world of chairs and bones.

She dresses chair frames of all styles (from the 17th to the 21th century) in a unique outfit; revisiting the past but not without contemporary touches.

Driven by her own inspiration she stipples out sofas, outlines daybeds, over stitches armchairs.

One stitch forward, one stitch back, both stitching or tacking, she oversews fabrics, overlaps colours, reveals shapes before disappearing elliptically ...

For Christine modernity is a waste of time; unlikely weaves, the unexpected turns, detours creating fairytales long forgotten in our thoughts.
